Fundraising

The Wedgewood Cycling Team rides in support of the BC Cancer Foundation on behalf of our great sponsors!

We have raised funds for the BC Cancer Foundation since 2004 through our events "An Evening of Champions with Eddy & Axel Merckx", "The Westside Cycling Classic", "The Tour de Gastown" and "The Wedgewood Cyclo Cross Race at New Brighton Park"

We have participated in and helped organise the Tour of Courage with Lance Armstrong & Friends and will continue as a club to raise funds and awareness for the BC Cancer Foundation.

We rode in the 2009 Ride To Conquer Cancer in which our team raised over $158,000 and for 2010 with your support we hope to raise $200,000 with your support.

The Wedgewood Cycling Team will make the 2010 Ride one of its main fundraising initiatives for the year ahead and we look forward to supporting this great event. Our team is made up of all levels of riders with a good mix of males nd females which include regular club riders, employees of our sponsors, guests, friends, family & co-workers.
