Directors' Rides

Every summer we try and ride as many interesting routes as possible.

Towards the end of July we are lucky enough to be invited to visit team mate John Litherland and his wife Madeleine on Vancouver Island for a spectacular day of riding. John sources a great route for us which includes a real mix of terrain and scenery followed by a splendid afternoon BBQ at their lovely cliff top home overlooking the Strait of Georgia. This year's Island Adventure is set for Sunday, July 25, 2010.

Traditionally on the Sunday of the long weekend in August we meet for our annual ride of Mount Baker. This has fondly become known as the Directors' Ride. A hearty breakfast in Abbotsford followed by a 5-6 hour ride makes for another spectacular day of riding on roads that would rival any in Europe. The Directors' Ride will be Sunday, August 1, 2010.
