2010 TNA Westside Cycling Classic
presented by Shape Properties & Mosaic Homes
The Wedgewood Cycling Team proudly presents its sixth annual road race; the TNA Westside Cycling Classic presented by Shape Properties & Mosaic Homes.
Returning to the scenic route surrounding Pacific Spirit Park near the University of British Columbia, the race will again be set against a spectacular backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountains and will attract racers from around the Pacific Northwest and Canada anxious to compete in one of Canada’s premier cycling events.
The race is scheduled for Sunday June 6, 2010 and will again be a primary fund raising initiative for the Wedgewood Cycling Team, in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. Funds raised will go towards helping the fight against Cancer in British Columbia.
Important Notice to Residents
Road closures will once again be in effect during this Event. Informational flyers will be delivered to your home the weekend of May 22-23 and will be available for download once details are finalized. Please keep an eye for this information and familiarize yourself with if or how these closures may effect your household.
Course Description
- Riders will head west out to UBC (in the Eastbound lanes) along West 16th to SW Marine Drive and will swoop down on to SW Marine heading east (within the Westbound lanes).
- At Camosun riders will turn northbound to climb the Camosun hill before turning left at West 29th Ave to go by St. Georges School and out to West 16th Ave again.
- After a quick left onto West 16th Ave from Discovery, riders will enter the home stretch and ride 800m to the Start/Finish line.
- The course will be completely closed to traffic. Riders will have freedom and safety to move about the entire 10.5km loop.
- FEED ZONE: will be located at the top of Camosun hill before the turn onto West 29th Avenue.
- TEAM ALLEY & EXPO: will be located on southside of 16th Avenue, east of Discovery, in front of Camosun Park.

Cost: $65 before May 17th | $70 from May 17th to June 5th | $75 on race day
