About the Team

From spirited team rides to fundraising activities, the Wedgewood Cycling Team is committed to high performance, social responsibility and two-wheeled camaraderie.

Established in 2004, the Wedgewood Cycling Team ranks as one of British Columbia’s most respected cycling clubs. Membership ranges from experienced recreational riders through to Category 1 and 2 racers who race competitively in regional events. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds in the Vancouver business community. While primarily a road club, many Wedgewood Cycling members train and race in cyclocross, mountain biking and triathlon.

In recent years many of our members have enjoyed travelling to ride GranFondo/Charity/Sportive events around the world; some multi-day, some single day. Wherever we go we always take time to celebrate and experience the hospitality of the regions we visit.

We pride ourselves on our community involvement. In particular, Wedgewood Cycling donates proceeds from our fundraising events to the BC Cancer Foundation – an independent charitable organization that raises funds to support breakthrough research and care at the B.C. Cancer Agency. Their vision is a World Free from Cancer. Our aim is to help them make this a reality.
