2011 Wedgewood New Brighton Cyclocross

A waterfront and mountain view, sand, gravel, dirt, grass, run-ups, hurdles, lots of sweeping turns, and a several nasty sharp ones… The Wedgwood New Brighton Cyclocross race is a definite classic on the cross circuit.
In 2008, Team Wedgewood hosted the inaugural race at New Brighton Park, an eleven hectare multi-use ocean-front park in East Vancouver. Back for a fourth time in 2011 the team is planning yet another sweet Euro spectator-friendly parcours. Mark your calendar for “a date with dirt”. Sunday, September 25, 2011 is the day. Check back for more details as they become available.
For the time being, it’s time to train. Get out to New Brighton and muck around! Get directions to the park.
