Ride with Axel Merckx, Trevor Linden and Alex Stieda!

Vancouver Canucks legend Trevor Linden has announced that he is joining olympic medallist Axel Merckx and Canadian olympic cyclist Alex Stieda on June 1st, 2008 in the Westside Classic, presented by the Airey Group, in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.

In the morning, top amateur cyclists will compete in the Provincial Road Race Championships to determine Junior, Senior and Master Champions.

That afternoon, registered community riders have the opportunity to ride with Axel, Trevor and Alex in a fun, family, fundraising ride to support cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency.

"I'm really looking forward to riding in the BC Cancer Foundation's Westside Cycling Classic with my friend Axel, and I invite all my fans to register in advance and join us on Sunday, June 1st to be part of a great cause - supporting cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency," Linden said.
